Originally aired: Wednesday April 16, 2008 on Spike TV

Episode Recap:

Coach Jackson and Coach Griffin begin the episode by choosing up teams. Rampage won the coin toss and decided to pick the first fighter rather than picking the first fight. The teams ended up as:

Team Forfest: Matt Brown, Tim Credeur, Nick Klein, Dante Rivera, Amir Sadollah, Jesse Taylor, Cale Yarbrough, and Luck Zachrich

Team Rampage: Dan Cramer, Matt Dolce, C.B. Dollaway, Gerald Harris, Jeremy May, Matt Riddle, Paul Bradley, and Brandon Sene

Forest Griffin then picked the first match; Jesse Taylor (Team Forrest) vs. Mike Dolce (Team Rampage). In preparation for the fight it was revealed the Paul Bradley had some sort of nasty rash on his neck. After being seen by a specialist it was decided to keep Bradley training away from the rest of the team. But the next day Dana White arrived at the gym for some bad news for Bradley. He was going to have to leave the show due to the potential contagiousness of the rash. After an emotional confrontation Bradley accepted his dismissal. It was then up to Rampage and his assistant coaches to pick one of the fighters who lost to come back to the show. In a controversial choice Team Rampage picked Patrick Schultz.

In the first preliminary match Jesse Taylor dominated Mike Dolce throughout round one. Round two was much of the same. Taylor continued many submissions attempts with Dolce managing to avoid most of them until the final rear naked choke where he was force to tap out. The victory by Team Forest meant that they would maintain control and pick the next fight.
