Ultimate Fighter - Season 7 - Episode 5

Originally aired: Wednesday April 30, 2008 on Spike TV

Episode Recap:

After an exciting fight Matt Riddle seems to be content with his loss once he finds out that Tim Credeur wants to buy him an XBOX.

Team Rampage brought back former TUF winner Michael Bisbing to train with his team. Bisbing worked hard with the team and gave them as much advice as he could. Including letting them know that this is the best possible launching pad for their careers.

Also back at the house tensions are really getting raised as Jeremy May is getting on everyone's nerves. The pinnacle comes when he decides to "spike" Matt Brown's dip with lime juice. When Brown finds out the two exchange heated words and Brown guaranteed that the two would fight soon.

The episode's fight was a 3 round war between Danta Rivera and Brandon Sene. After a back and forth round 1 and 2 the fight went to a tie-breaking round 3. In that round both fighters looked pretty even, but in the end Rivera won via a decision. Post match saw an enraged Rampage Jackson at the judge's decision. Rampage took his anger out on the locker room and street sign.

Unexpectedly we went right to the fight selection for the next fight. And with no surprise Team Forrest selected Matt Brown to fight Jeremy May. After a long stare down both fighters look ready to fight!

Ultimate Fighter - Season 7 - Episode 4

Originally aired: Wednesday April 23, 2008 on Spike TV

Episode Recap:

Back in the house after the Jesse Taylor / Mike Dolce, Matt Riddle and Dante Rivera get engaged in a major war of words.

With fight selection looming, returning Team Rampage member Patrick Schultz believes he will be chosen to fight Rivera. But Team Forrest decides to throw a curve ball and send long time MMA veteran Tim Credeur into the cage against the young inexperienced, Matt Riddle.

With Riddle tapped to fight next, Dante Rivera wastes no time trying to get into Riddle's head. By challenging him to a $500 bet that he wont make it out of the first round.

At the pre-fight weigh-in Credeurtries to work a little psychological warfare into the fight, but Riddle continues to smile and laugh it off.

At the fight both men jump right into at and start mixing it up. The fight is a fast paced bout from start to finish with plenty of ups and downs. After a tight first round, the second round looks to be going the way of Matt Riddle. Just about when he was going to pull ahead the two start to exchange on their feet. Surprisingly though, Riddle doesn't keep the fight standing and he takes Credeur down. Screaming from the corner Coach Rampage wants Riddle to get off the mat and stand back up. Riddle stays on the mat though, and Credeur uses this to his advantage by locking in an air-tight armbar that forces Riddle to tap out. Rampage Jackson then storms off in anger.

Ultimate Fighter - Season 7 - Episode 3

Originally aired: Wednesday April 16, 2008 on Spike TV

Episode Recap:

Coach Jackson and Coach Griffin begin the episode by choosing up teams. Rampage won the coin toss and decided to pick the first fighter rather than picking the first fight. The teams ended up as:

Team Forfest: Matt Brown, Tim Credeur, Nick Klein, Dante Rivera, Amir Sadollah, Jesse Taylor, Cale Yarbrough, and Luck Zachrich

Team Rampage: Dan Cramer, Matt Dolce, C.B. Dollaway, Gerald Harris, Jeremy May, Matt Riddle, Paul Bradley, and Brandon Sene

Forest Griffin then picked the first match; Jesse Taylor (Team Forrest) vs. Mike Dolce (Team Rampage). In preparation for the fight it was revealed the Paul Bradley had some sort of nasty rash on his neck. After being seen by a specialist it was decided to keep Bradley training away from the rest of the team. But the next day Dana White arrived at the gym for some bad news for Bradley. He was going to have to leave the show due to the potential contagiousness of the rash. After an emotional confrontation Bradley accepted his dismissal. It was then up to Rampage and his assistant coaches to pick one of the fighters who lost to come back to the show. In a controversial choice Team Rampage picked Patrick Schultz.

In the first preliminary match Jesse Taylor dominated Mike Dolce throughout round one. Round two was much of the same. Taylor continued many submissions attempts with Dolce managing to avoid most of them until the final rear naked choke where he was force to tap out. The victory by Team Forest meant that they would maintain control and pick the next fight.
